What to do while you're here

There's plenty to do in the immediate area:

Golf – Cantabria is a golfer's heaven. There are plenty of courses and queues are rare. We organise lessons with the best teachers possible at the ‘ Ramon Sota Golf School '.

Mountain hikes and caving – we have information on excursions for everyone, from relaxing strolls through forests to high mountain routes in the Asón, Pas, Saja-Nansa and Picos de Europa.

We are only five minutes from the coast and surf, windsurf, sailing or fishing can all be arranged. Or, just grab a towel and head for one of the five beautiful, unspoilt beaches nearby.

For animal lovers, the Cabárceno Nature Park, only fifteen minutes from the house, is home to a vast range of animals roaming around the ruins of a Roman iron ore mine. We are particularly fond of the bears

And to recover from all this, you can lie back and enjoy the hydrotherapy treatments at the local spa in Lierganes.
